Services
See below for general information on the services we offer and go to our pricing page for current rates on all options! Thanks for your interest and we look forward to joining you on your horsemanship journey!
One-Time Horse Experience

Want to see if your child (or you) would enjoy lessons? Want a special one-of-a-kind gift? The one-time horse experience is for you! 1.5 hours of instruction includes grooming, tacking, safety, basic ground handling, and riding with one of our beginner friendly school masters. Check out our pricing page for current rates!
Private and Small Group Lessons

Available in one-on-one intensives or small group (max of 3 for beginners), with our lesson horses or your horse hauled in. Progressive Horsemanship lessons start from the ground up and emphasize safety, confident and competent ground handling, ground training exercises, and riding skills from first ride all the way through finished work. One-on-one lesson plans can be tailored specifically to the needs of the student / horse and are typically 1-2h sessions; small groups are established based on common skill levels with session duration of 1-1h15m. One-on-one lessons are usually required to establish basic skills before joining a group unless a small group is starting at the same time. Lessons with HOH are a great way to prepare for horse ownership and establish safe, correct habits from the beginning! Check our pricing page for current rates!
Team Building

Available for any age or group type-- professional, family, or friend groups! The purpose is to utilize the horses to build camaraderie, work through issues, and gain interpersonal and individual insights into communication patterns and methods. Tailored specifically for each group, contact us with your vision and estimated number of people and we can offer an individualized quote!
Training

From colt starting to finishing work, becoming trail savvy to behavior modification of specific patterns or unpacking trauma-- share with us where you and your horse need help and we can make a plan. An evaluation is required before training can begin so that you receive a rundown of all major issues noted and a suggested plan of how to deal with those issues. Training options include full immersive training and several variations of owner / horse combined learning. Check out our pricing page for the major options and don't hesitate to reach out with your questions or vision. Be advised, while we will be sensitive to the horse's intended job, all horses will be handled and taught using PH methodology and owners will be required to learn what the horse is learning. This step is paramount to the horse's success and PH methodology dovetails beautifully with most humane styles of horsemanship, thus owner education is non-negotiable. Lessons are included as noted in the training options on the pricing page.
Mentorship Boarding

A variation of training board and listed right along with training options on the pricing page, mentorship board is essentially supervised and supported horse ownership, training, handling, and riding. The goal is to build confidence, explore issues, and create a plan for success in having the horse at home at some future point. It is also a great way to "try out" horse ownership with a safety net and support system in place. We do periodically have horses available for onsite leasing, which falls under this category as well. Outside horses must have an evaluation before a mentorship board slot is offered and, in some cases, a month or two of training board may be needed to get the horse's education jumpstarted. Options and a plan will be outlined at the evaluation so that everyone is set up for success!
Summer camps and Year Round Clinics

Summer camps are held each year in June and July for both beginners and experienced riders. Offered in half-day or full day options, camp is a week jam-packed with ground education, riding, games, crafts, and HORSES! Offered for ages 5-14, camp dates are usually released by no later than March 1 with discounts for early bird sign ups. Participation is capped at 8 so that plenty of individualized attention is available for skill development.
Clinics can be done upon request in any of a myriad of topics throughout the year for any age group. Please inquire on pricing and learning options. We also periodically offer clinics on topics of interest-- reach out if you have interest in a particular area of learning!
