Pickles

The kindest school master you will ever meet, a debilitating disease took her professional career but led her to a second chapter with HOH where she is an absolute cornerstone!

Dixie and Oreo

A cowbred QH and a spotted saddle horse may make an unlikely duo, but these two girls work group lessons together with skill and poise. Kind with beginners and challenging for those farther along in their journey, they are indispensable and well-loved by all who learn with them!

Juniper

This lovely girl has a shadowed past and came to us with not even a name of her own, but she is now named, loved, safe, and soon to join the ranks of the school masters if she'd like to accept the job.

A tiny horse with a big job, Po is our HOH ambassador at local festivals and events. He was well-loved in his previous life and, when life changes forced his previous owner to search for a safe space for he and Sophia, we were honored to bring them into the HOH family!

Sophia

This tiny little bombshell works as an ambassador alongside Po at festivals and events where her job is to be petted, loved, and photographed-- a job she is well suited for! She loves crowds and provides gentle assurance to Po when he gets overwhelmed by lots of people. She was well-loved in her previous life and, when life changes forced her previous owner to search for a safe space for she and Po, we were honored to bring them into the HOH family!

Casper

Casper faced a long road of behavioral rehabilitation when he came to us from a home desperate for answers for his history of human and horse aggression. After multiple years of consistent behavioral rehab, Casper is a naughty but model equine citizen and a permanent resident of HOH to ensure that his past is never repeated.

Muffin

Don't let that blue eye fool you, Muffin is as sharp-sighted as they come! She has a plethora of life experience, having been a kids' camp program mount, a trail horse, and a mobile cowboy's roping horse. She is tough, discriminating, dogged, and unflappable. To earn Muffin's respect is an impressive endeavor!

Louis

Louis is an OTTB with a delicate nature and a sometimes melodramatic personality. He loves to be doted upon, has tremendous "try," and has special needs due to a back injury but is a pleasure under saddle for the discriminating and refined rider.

Our lesson horses and permanent residents are the heart of our program and all do a fantastic job of sharing who they are as they teach and challenge their students.
